Core service

Project support

Independent safety input at the stages where design choices and project decisions are still changeable.

Safety requirements cross disciplines. Project support helps align the risk assessment, mechanical layout, electrical design, controls, integration, and commissioning work so that open safety issues are visible and assigned.

Concept and design development

Review layouts, process descriptions, access strategies, and preliminary safety concepts. Identify assumptions and unresolved design decisions while there is still room to change equipment placement, access, or control architecture.

Integrator and supplier coordination

Clarify safety-related responsibilities and interfaces between the machine builder, integrator, end user, and component suppliers. Review submissions against agreed requirements and maintain a concise record of decisions and open actions.

Factory and site acceptance

Prepare or review FAT and SAT checklists, support witness testing, record deviations, and distinguish design changes from documentation corrections. Acceptance records should identify what was tested, under what conditions, and what remains open.

Commissioning and change support

Assist with troubleshooting and safety reviews during installation, commissioning, and modifications. When a change affects the application or protective measures, determine what assessment, verification, or validation needs to be repeated.

Deliverables

Depending on scope: design review notes, safety action logs, meeting support, FAT/SAT protocols, issue closeout records, and a handover list of evidence still required.

Scope note. Each engagement is bounded by the agreed scope, supplied information, applicable requirements, and the configuration examined. Recommendations and records should be reviewed against the final machine and operating conditions.
